An intercultural event wherein different migrant communities participated was held at Parco Baden Powell , via Marzabotto 3 in Reggio Emilia this third of July, 2022. It is in connection with the 20th anniversary of Centro Interculturale Mondinsieme.
PENSO A TE Aps group had a photo exhibit there regarding their FinLit activities with the Filipino women and one of the paintings of Madittz was also included. There were booths featuring the products of the member organizations, some laboratory workshops like painting, and drawing, games and dance workshop for the children, teens and adults as well.
Everyone witnessed the good rapport and camaraderie among migrants. One FilCom organization based in the city, the BAHAGHARI, had a booth showcasing Filipino products and later , they performed the Mindanao folk dance during the afternoon program. The Tamil children performed also their cultural dance. The Mayor of Reggio Emilia was very delighted to see the event and praised Mondinsieme for their efforts in uniting the migrants.
